Io crede que nos non debe montar parolas estranie como "interlinguanistas"
o "interlinguaistas". Si, es un infelicitate que il ha tres parolas cuje
derivation per "-ista" genera le mesme parola:

interlingua (generic) > interlinguista
Interlingua (de IALA) > interlinguista
Interlingue (Occid. ) > interlinguista

In le caso specific de Occidental, nos pote appellar "interlinguiste", un
parola originari de aquelle lingua, justo como nos pote appellar le
esperantistas como "esperantistoj".

In general le contexto va acclarar de qual senso nos parla. Pro precisar
plus le cosa, nos pote utilizar circumlocutiones como "expertos in
interlinguistica", "partisanos/promotores de(l) Interlingua (de IALA)",
"interlinguistas (secundo IALA)", "partisanos/promotores de
Occidental/Interlingue", "interlinguistas (secundo de Wahl)", etc.
