"Cis" es un *preposition* latin (le opposito de "trans" o "ultra").

"Ci" es un *adverbio* (o plus tosto un *particula* grammatical?) francese,
derivate de un expression latin "ecce hic".

Malgrado le similaritate orthographic e le signification de proximitate,
illos non es etymologicamente correlate.
