Hi All~~

I've been trying new GF things lately. One of those things is quinoa. I
must qualify that from experience, texture of foods are critical to whether
or not I like a food.

My response to quinoa is 'ick'. I prefer white rice to brown because it's
softer. Quinoa reminded me of little BBs on my tongue. Does this sound
right to those of you who eat it? Most importantly, is there a way for me
to get a softer texture?

If you wonder what I ate with it, I sauteed asparagus and small bites of
chicken, then baked a sweet potato. The quinoa, chicken and asparagus were
combined into a main dish. I cooked the quinoa in chicken broth.

I don't want to throw the rest of the box away, but I need to find a way to
cook it so that the texture is more palatable to me. Any suggestions?

Thanks~~Ayn in Kansas
