I received many nice answers to my problems.  Thanks to everyone.  I will be trying some of the ideas that were suggested.   Meanwhile, I was searching on the internet and found a great recipe that had so many great reviews.  So I tried it, and much to my surprise, my cookies came out great.   They did not lose their shape or spread out like my old recipe did.  There is a small amount of cinnamon in the recipe, which I did not add.

Thanks again to everyone.  Even though being GF is so much easier now, it is still nice to know that we still have this listserv and can reach out to others.  I hope we have it forever.
