IMPIO deveniva IMPIE (non IMPI)
RUBIO deveniva RUBIE (non RUBI)

Il me sembla que -ari es un differente affixo que -e, pro adjectivos de un
certe typo.  Le VARI- es le radice a que es addite -E; illo non es un
caso de -ari.
