Le anglese "knee" = fr. genou, it. ginocchio, esp. rodilla.

Mais le espaniol ha genuflexion, it. genuflettersi, fr. genuflexion,
e geniculo (que pare le prototypo del italiano ginocchio si io non
es in error).  geniculo = genu.  (genu diminuitive).

Io non sape.  Le caso non es clar a iste puncto.
