Ben que le parola plus generalizate in portugese pro le pulvere que on usa in
le cocina, existe tamben le sequente parolas:

    LÊVEDO o LEVEDO s.m.
    [ab LEVITO usate in vice de LEVATO, ab lat. LEVARE]
    1. Fungo agente de fermentation, empleate in le preparation de bibitas
       alcoholic non destillate e in le panification; "levedura".

    LEVEDURA s.f.
    1. "Lêvedo".
    2. Fermento.

    FERMENTO s.m.
    1. Substantia capace de provocar excambios chimic, supertoto fermentation,
       sin ceder qualque parte de su proprie materia.
    2. Massa de farina que ranceva e que, miscite a altere massa de pan, lo
fermenta.
