Hic es un traduction al Interlingua de vostre message...

Salutos, essente un parlante de Esperanto, io es in grande parte sol-
mente un auditor in le conversationes vostre.  Ma, nunc io es gaudiose
que io pote contribuer alco util, il es le etymologia de "Brille".  Le
information es de "Deutsches Universalw?terbuch" (scribe me si vos
necessita informes bibliographic):

Medio-Alte-german: berillus, berille del Latino beryllus - jam que iste
gemma esseva usate pro le primer "berillos/oculares".

(P.S. io haberea scripte isto in Esperanto, ma como alcunos de vos reacta
tanto forte contra iste lingua.  Io solmente ha un lectura passive de
Interlingua - si place perdona mi ponderose grammatica anglese).
