Tu miscomprende mi ration.  -izar es prototypic.
-isar es le orthographia brittanic del Dictionario
Oxford.  Anglese american usa -ize, que es plus
proxime al prototypo latin -izare que esseva
prestate al latino del grec -izein (a facer).

Webster's dice:

-ize  vb suffix  [ME -isen, fr. OF -iser, fr. LL -izare, fr. Gk -izein]
