Le Serpente e le Aquila

Un Serpente e un Aquila era serrate in combatto mortal. Le Serpente habeva
le avantage, se inveloppate circa le grande ave, e era presta a strangular
le ave, quando un homine de campo curreva a illes, laxava le spiras del
Serpente, e liberava le Aquila. Le Serpente se glissava rapidmente foras,
ma pro vindicantia ille se cessava a sputar veneno in le corno de biberage
del homine.

Habinte calor e excitamento del lucta, le rustico era presta a haber un
bibita fresc ma mortemente del corno quando le Aquila se piccava ex le celo
e colpava le corno ex le mano, effundiente le biberage invenenate sur le
terra.

The Serpent and the Eagle

A Serpent and an Eagle were locked in mortal conflict. the Serpent had the
advantage, wrapped around the great bird, and was about to strangle the
bird when a country man ran up, loosed the Serpent's coils, and freed the
Eagle. The Serpent slid quickly away, but in vengeance he stopped to spit
poison in the man's drinking horn.

Hot and excited from the fight, the rustic was about to take a cool but
deadly drink from his horn when the Eagle swept from the sky and knocked
the horn from his hand spilling the poisoned draught onto the ground.
