Le forma grec del nomine debe esser _xristoforos_ le _*porta-Christo_.
Le -e- secundo me non veni del verbo _phero_ sed es un
debilisation/atonalisation del vocal -o-.

Le forma hispanic del nomine me sempre ha intrigate -bal? Es isto un resto
punic?!
