Normalmente, on tracta "Christ" in "Jesus Christ" quasi como un nomine
proprie: "_Christ_ predicava al multitude", "_Christ_ sanava le
leproso", "_Christ_ era crucificate". Ma de facto illo es un attributo, un
titulo: "Jesus Christ" = "Jesus le Unguito" = "Jeshua le Messia".

Le uso de "the Christ" in vice de "Christ" servi a accentuar iste senso
attributive.
