Multe gratias pro tu commentario in The Economist. Naturalmente io es 
totalmente de accordo ma io non maestra le lingua anglese pro poter scriber 
ibi.

Io es totalmente convincite que nos al minus durante le proxime decenas de 
annos nos debe tolerar traductiones automatic ma io tamben crede que tal 
traductiones pejorara omne linguas. Ma certo le costos essera decisive e 
dunque io time que le computatores habera un superioritate.
Linguas non solmente consiste de parolas e un lingua sin littertura es 
nihil. Regrettabilemente nostre lingua  suffre de manco de bon littertura 
original e uno del plus importante cargas pro divulgar interlingua es crear 
un litteratura vivente.
Multe personas tamben opina que le grammatica es importante. Durante un 
grande feria de libros in Göteborg iste autumno io sovente informava re le 
facile grammatica in interlingua. Alcun professores (gymnasial io suppone) 
de latino  insisteva que un lingua sin un grammatica variate e developpate 
durante seculos non poterea esser considerate como un ver lingua. Io non 
esseva de accordo. Le grammatica de multe linguas de plus in plus se ha 
devenite abbreviate e simplificate (al minus in anglese e francese que io ha 
studiate in le schola). Dunque io opina que un gramatica simplificate ma 
rational debe haber un bon futuro. P.ex. multe regulas grammatic con origine 
in  latino supervive in multe linguas, specialmente linguas romanic, sin 
esser necessari. p.ex. quando le uso de pronominos ha substituite suffixos 
differente. Io prophetisa que non solmente Bess in le musical "Porgy and 
Bess" in le futuro va cantar "I is your woman now".

Nos ha le vocabulario necessari que es comprensibile pro milliones e un 
grammatica que ille milliones facilemente poterea apprender. Lo que nos 
manca es le littertura (original), moneta e persones con dignitate e fama 
que se interessa pro iste cosa importante; Communication sin barrieras.

Apart the disputation on numbers, it seems that sooner or later - as a
result of the natural law: all things change - the present role of the
English language will disappear. Perhaps not only because of the increasing
of the computer influence, as stated by the author of this book, in our
daily lives (the vast majority of computer translations are quite
deplorable) but because there are other «occult and powerful» forces (the
nature of things) that will drive the «linguistic» future of humanity in
another way...

«Non nova sed nove!»

Well! All vernacular languages pose a difficult problem to solve which is
the psychological ascendency that a native speaker has over his foreigner
peers - whatever is the level of their language mastery. And this aspect of
intercommunication is not negligible, for more and more people do not like
feel enfeebled notwithstanding their skills speaking this or that language.

So to solve this question («computer linguistics» is not, definitively, the
solution) one should/must/can/ought/have to (whatever) to take conscience
that the way is to learn a neutral language, so to say, and speak it with
others at the same level...
President Barack Obama already gave a hint on this question when he decided
to introduce Esperanto as a Second Language subject in American schools...
although I think he is smart enough and will not pursue his aim. The
solution for this must be a natural language - Interlingua in my opinion - a
language that is easy for speakers of European languages (with strong
ramifications all over the world) to learn and understand at first-sight
and, at the same time, can also serve as a bridge to the Romance languages,
or from these and other languages to English - the «Standard Average
European» as described by Alexander Gode.
