le doctor Mulaik scribeva:

Io debe de novo planger me de iste usage estranie de "mancar". Tu vole

Io va dicer lo in anglese: the subject of "mancar" is the thing which
is missing, not the thing which doesn't have something.

"to lack" pote significar e "to not be present", "to be missing"
("detail is lacking in this story") e "to not have" ("this story lacks
detail").

Ma le verbo "mancar" non functiona assi. Illo non ha ambe
significationes; le verbo "mancar" significa solmente "to be missing",
nunquam "to not have".
