Stan, alcun recercas.

EMPRESTAR = EN- ( < lat. IN ) + PRESTAR ( < lat. PRAESTARE )

EMPRE'STIMO es un alteration phonetic de un forma anterior EMPRE'STIDO.

Hic nos vide que in realitate isto es similar al forma italian PRESTITO.

Ultra isto, in mi dictionario de latino io trovava:

PRAESTITUS (I breve), -A, -UM = PRAESTATUS.

Mi dictionario da duo formas del verbo PRAESTARE:

PRAESTO, -AS, -ARE, -AVI, -ATUM.
PRAESTO, -AS, -ARE, -STITI (prime I es breve), -STATUM.

Le due habe le mesme origine e quasi le mesme significationes, ma solo
in iste secunde forma (si isto post toto ha alcun implication plus
seriose) io trovava le signification de "fornir, poner a disposition de
(alcuno), dar", que probabilemente deveniva synonimo de "to lend".

Comocunque, hic nos habe in le formas italian e portugese appoiamento in
duo linguas pro un forma "prestito" (accentuate in le "e", significante
le action de prestar E le cosa prestate). Alcun altere lingua pro
completar le trio?
