        WORLD BODY's SEARCH FOR TOP EXECUTIVES


The African Management Services Company (AMSCO).

AMSCO is a United Nations Development Program Project, an
International
Company owned by 9 international  Development Institutions (IFC, UNDP,

ADB,
FMO, CDC, SWEDECORP, CFD, IFU, Banco de Fomento e Exterior) and
over 50
private sector
companies. AMSCO assists private and public sector companies in
Africa.
AMSCO's intervention is to provide management services, particularly
experienced
private sector managers and delivery of  management development
training.

AMSCO's purpose is the supply of experienced private sector
managers to
rehabilitate, expand, and/or prepare for privatisation, potentially
viable
African companies that do not have access to such talent. Additionally,
under
AMSCO management contract, local African staff are thoroughly trained
to succeed
AMSCO teams when they have completed their missions. AMSCO is a
UNDP
supported
enterprise organised by the international Finance Corporation (IFC) of
the World
Bank, the African Development Bank and supported by over 50 private
sector
companies. AMSCO presently employs about 200 managers all over
Africa
to assist
85 companies in the area of mananagement and training.

We presently have 12 new vacancies (summary details see below).

General Managers /CEO's
Technical Managers/
Production Managers/
Finance Managers

are required, who must have worked at senior level and are able and
willing to
train successors. Fluency in English and/or French or Portuguese
required.
Contract duration will be from 1 - 3 years. All managers will have a
United
Nations Status, a tax free
salary, expatriate housing a company car, insurance and leave tickets.

- A technical manager for a fruitjuices / mineral water factory in East
Africa.
Contract Duration 3 years.

- A Operations Manager with IT knowledge for a Commercial Bank in
Nigeria .
Contract duration 3 years.

- A Operations Manager for a Bank in West Africa. Contract Duration 3
years.

- A Manager of a Sugar Refinery in Nigeria. Contract duration 3 years.

- A Manager of a Salt Crushing Factory in Nigeria. Contract duration 3
years.

- Finance /Commercial Manager (with investment management
background)
of a
Cement and Industrial Minerals factory in East Africa. Contract
Duration 3
years.

- A General Manager,for a tank and pipe manufacturing company in
Ghana-

- A General Manager Meat & Sausage  Production company  - Zambia -
Contract
duration
3 years.

- A Director of a paper printing company in Tchad, french speaking
Contract
duration 3 years.

- Two Managing directors for 2 horticultural / flower growing & export
companies
in Eats Africa. Contract duration 3 years.

- A Administrative & Finance manager for a port inspection and trade
support
services company in Ghana. Contract duration 3 years.
