Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Gambian Democratic Forum is based in
Atlanta,Georgia. Yesterday we sent a letter to IEC
seeking advice as to how Gambians abroad, specifically
in the United States can register and vote by absentee
ballot. We received numerous feedbacks from people who
wanted this information for Gambians everywhere and
not only United States. We agree.

At this point we are only gathering information from
IEC. After we received the information, it will be
made available on Gambia-L. We do not think the
process will be different for other countries. After
we provide the information on Gambia-L, we implore
every Gambian whether in the US or elsewhere to get
registered and to make absentee balloting possible.

Remember we are in this together. Collectively, we can
effect change in the Gambia in the upcoming General
Elections.
