Mr. Ceesay, I think you're missing the point on this one. This is not the
first time, upon being confronted with the April 10-11, 2000, saga, that APRC
officials walks away, takes a plea of silence/noninvolvement, I'm not the
spokesperson, I have to consult with Banjul, etc. The mayor of Banjul, Samba
Faal, did the same thing in NY, upon being asked the same question on April
10-11. Mr. Joof upon being coerced or forced by Yahya Jahanama into making
such a trip to DC, knowing well, that such questions will pop up and did not
have an iota of decency to address such an issue, is therefore, either a
smart fool or, inept AG. Instead, this inexperienced coward, as Amat Bah
reiterated on Mr. Joof's apolitical nature and inexperience's on APRC's dirty
politricking, took a good five minutes or so, repeating APRC's flashy
achievements: 100+ schools with no materials or teachers, Ghana Airways'
direct flight to the USA, Dual citizenship, Hospitals and clinics without
medicine and doctors...you get my drift? Some of those in the audience
applauded, but got really bemused when the guy headed for the door. A young
sister commented loudly...'HAI MU NGA DAW DI - KEY MOH YABAATEH'...WHAT, HE'S
RUNNING AWAY - HE'S REALLY COCKY. Respectfully, Mr. honorable colanut-chewing
Tombong, stayed to give us the APRC party line of skewing facts and events.
