Pasamba
This is a process that have been going on for quite a long time, not only
at the prison but also in the military. In the military senior officers
used to send recruits to their homes whitin the camp to help their wives
with their domestic duties, to polish their shoes and so on. Some officers
use to cassava fields in the camp which are been taken care of by recruits.
It seems this is a permanent practice. The recruits base their hopes for
promotion on those officers who in turn take advantage of the situation in
every way possible.
I think members of the L who have served in the military are in better
position to elaborate on this topic than i do.

This just to strengthen your story and to show that this corrupt practise
is not just in the prison but other security institution as well.
