Jabou writes:

"It is a shame that we HAVE NOT HAD (emphasis mine) a reliable electricity
supply and other basic services have been wanting".

We say that is precisely what this government has come to change.

She further writes:

"Therefore, the provision of these services, using the people's tax money is
nothing to brag about. This is standard fare in any country. I guess this is
news in The Gambia because the people's tax money and other national
revenues end up in the pockets of the corrupt leadership we have been
burdened with, so if for once, they spend even a penny towards basic
services for the people, then this is big news that they send Tombong and a
cabinet official to announce on the L".

Dead wrong. For all and sundry, this is just the tip of the iceberg. More
generators are on the way. And please ths is not only news but VERY BIG NEWS
THAT IS VERY MUCH WORTH BRAGGING ABOUT. As some of us live in The Gambia and
not London, Birmingham or New York, we will do all that we can using our
meagre resources to develop this country. A horse's journey of a thousand
miles begins with a gallop, they say. We shall continue to inform you of
more and more developments. We will also continue to spend tax payers money
on education, health, agriculture, fisheries, infrastructure etc, etc, and
you will be fully informed. Transparency and accountability we call it.

Have a good day and bye 4Now, KB Jobe.
