kb,

Please don't over-react. I'm SURE Dr. Malanding means
well. Lalo Jaiteh being his relative, it doesn't make
any sense to assume that he'll say or do anything to
hinder others in their attempts to help the poor
fellow. I think the good Dr. is giving us more credit
than we deserve in terms of influence (on the case,)
but I don't see the need to dwell on the issue. I
re-started the issue due to a second reading of the
documents. The naivete' of the alleged coup leader
really struck me -from what Pap Che's boy's said. But
I don't take any offense at all at what Dr. Jaiteh
said. I assume his logic is that, if people like you
and I who are NOT lawyers could read the govt's case
and see the gaping holes in it, the accused's lawyers
should have a field day in court. In general, the
"surprise factor" he mentioned is true. Whether it's
important in this case is another thing. Maybe he
knows something we don't. I choose to take his
comments in good faith, and I hope you'll also try to
put this behind you. Knwoing this forum, the fracas
that is sure to ensue -from your demand- won't
accomplish anything but to further distract us from
more pressing matters.
Good morning.

Saul.
