The big RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD festival features no less than 3 GAMBIAN
ACTS: reggae/raggaman CHOW PANACHIE, mbalax magician MUSA MBOOP and
Ifang Bondi, headlining the festival. So here's your chance to see 3
leading Gambian artists united at one exiting event. And it's FREE!
(Hitchin is on the A1, a bit north of London & a few miles east of
Luton).

Ifang Bondi's appearance at the WOMAD FESTIVAL in SEATTLE has already
created quite a buzz, not least in the media.
West coast dwellers will be delighted to get a chance to see Ifang Bondi
in the superb setting of this fantastic 3 day festival in Marymoor Park.

Ifang Bondi are programmed to do 2 concerts, a workshop and a very
special session featuring Ifang Bondi's kora player Momodou Suso
duetting with Schottische harp virtuoso Savourna Stensen.
Besides Ifang Bondi YOUSSOU NDOUR will also be performing at the
festival.
And YES, to answer your questions, Ifang Bondi will bring along CDs
for sale.

On their way back to Europe, Ifang Bondi will use their transit at
Washington DC to meet up with family & friends.

The PEPSI SZIGET FESTIVAL in Budapest is with a staggering 350.000
visitors from all over Europe arguably the largest pop/rock festival
of Europe. In 1999 & 2000 African music was represented by Mory Kante
and Baaba Maal respectively, this year Ifang Bondi will be flying the
flag for Africa.

After the final concerts in Holland - the 2 festivals don't need any
further introduction to people in Holland - the band will return to The
Gambia.

Ifang Bondi will hit the road again in October/November.
Keep posted for more tour dates!
