Gassama

Please be sincere with this situation and don't try to
make political capital out of it. We in the opposition
are ONE BROAD FAMILY,whose supreme goal is to see the
back of the APRC regime come October 2001. Samusa and
Conteh's decision to rejoin NCP has nothing to do the
UDP/PPP merger. They have decided to regroup with
their former leader S.M. Dibba, a prominent member of
the opposition. I would have agreed with you if either
of these gentlemen had opted for the ruling party
APRC. Since the likes of Conteh and Samusa have not
joined the APRC, then my answer is NO.

Thank you

Sanusi

The repeal of Decree 89 opens the avenue for political
pluralism but it all depends how it is utlised. You
cited the case of Samusa and Conteh rejoining the
National Convention Party.
