Kanja:

I know fully well that your dad will not accept your arrogance.
I am in no position in engaging any of you in a senseless
debate. Time is critical at this moment. We need to talk the talk
and do the work.

I have more important things to do than engage in a debate that
is not base of facts. I seek no friends in this struggle. My
intended purpose is unity base on truth, fair-dealing and
understanding. We will be doing the opposition disservice if
we let our emotions take guard of our principles.

Please take time and revisit the notion of political reality. If
we fail to speak the truth, we will fail come October. I bear
witness to the fact that politics cannot be based on nepotism.

From this end, this debate is over.

Naphiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
Greensboro, NC/Kombo East Constituency

Jasseh-Conteh,
Just because someone is related to Ousainu Darboe and supports him does not
mean that spell nepotism. We are all Gambians and We all love Gambia as
much as you and want the best for the Gambia. We(memebers of Darboe's
family as I am one) or Darboe have nothing to gain by him becoming president
of the Gambia. Darboe is driven by his desire to serve his country and not
by money. It seems like you trying to discredit the postings made by both
Mariama Diop and Lasana Jobarteh just because they are related to Darboe.
Both of these people like you and the rest of the G-lers have the best
interest of the Gambia at heart. We all have one mission and that is to get
Jammeh out, we might not agree on how to get there but please let us refrain
from accusing poeple of nepotism just because they endorse the coalition or
support Darboe. We should careless as to whether the writer is related to
Pateh, Kumba or whatever and focus and engage the writer on the issue that
is been discussed. None of us related to Darboe are hiding our
realtionship with him as you have insinuated in the postings in response to
both Mariama Diop and Lasana Jobarteh, we just don't think it is relevant
when discussing national issues. Gambia is a small place and we know that
we can't "hide our identity". Have a good day.
Yama Darboe-

p.s
I was the the one wearing the tye-dye outfit with the sea shells that made a
lot of noise when you came to see Darboe in MD
