Folks,
First let me assure you all that the management will do whatever is necessary to bring this to a speedy end. Since Thursday not all the members of the management had chance to respond. As such I would ask all to give us time to digest tens of messages before responding.

On a more personal note, I would ask all those calling for re-subscribing those delisted to be a little patient with the speed of things. As much as we want everyone to be treated equally we must not lose sight of the fact that the quality of Gambia-l is directly dependent on the quality of our discourse. I would be quick to add that the freedom to speak ones mind does not license anyone to throw ponographic material, personal attacks and obscenity at people. I would conclude by remining all that Gambia-l is hosted by St John's Univ with the expectation that certain standards are kept. Our failure to safeguard these could cost us the previlege.

Malanding
