It is difficult to confirm whether Tombong has indeed
been fired. What is clear though is that the GRTS is
going through an interesting period and i personally
want to believe that under the present setup, Tombong
is the most suitable candidate for the job among the
GRTS staff. I dont know Tombong much but the little i
learnt about him is that he is the only one among the
senior staff of the GRTS who can witstand the
government's pressures in this crucial time of our
political development. Indeed nobody can doubt
Tombong's support for the APRC but the fact of the
matter is that he is proving to be his own man
especially now that the official campaign itself is on
the way. The rest of the senior are either too
unrealistic to be professional or are even worse.
Nonetheless, i would like to see the GRTS go beyond
their usual boring approach to political stories. This
will indeed help polished their tinted credibility.
