There is some confusion in the use of the term "Absentee Voter" in the
current discussion/debate over the National Assembly election results.
The term, "absentee voter" is generally reserved for citizens who for
reasons of service to their country ( e.g.. armed forces) or location
outside their constituency or country cast their vote in advance of
polling day.  I do not think this is what is being refereed to here.  If
by this term you mean individuals who decided not to vote for reasons
that include boycotting the election to protest current political
arrangement, the term "non-voter" is more appropriate.  Just a point of
clarification.
