Madam Joof,

I will try and respond to your concerns because I sense some
sincerity in your language.  This shall be my last and only comment
on this topic and no more.  I hope you and the rest shall respect my
prerogative.  I owe NOBODY any explanation.

My apology to President Jammeh is personal.  It has nothing to do
with anybody or the wild conjectures peddled around.  I have
discussed all the ramifications of my actions with the people who
matter, and please we are in Ramadan; I am enjoying my peace of mind
thinking and praying to God like any other good Muslim.

I hope this is enough, and I expect you to respect my inalienable
right to remain silent.
