Hello to the soccer fans,
some of you have been very exited that "real Africa" captured 4 out of 5 of
the African places. What do you think about the draw and the groups with the
african teams ?
Denmark got Senegal, France and Uruguay in her group. Here in Denmark it´s
so "funny" to listen to all the so called experts on radio/TV saying that
Senegal, which are at WC for the first time, should be a safe win. And I
have to tell all my friends: "You don´t know anything about African
football. Watch out for the Senegalese. Most of their players are from the
French league, and watch the fantastic young talent  from Lens". Only our
national coach says that the young Senegalese team will come out there with
all their enthusiasm, show the world that they can play and represent Africa
the best way, and we have to be very careful with that team. I would like to
go, but it´s too far and expensive, so it must be home in front of the TV
set the whole june 2002.
