President WADE announced last night that BA will soon start direct service
between Dakar and London. He made the announcement following his state visit
to UK which preceeded his participation in the recently concluded Cote
d'Ivoire Peace Talks in Paris.

In addition to the commercial links between Dakar and London, he also
revealed that British Tour operators are also interested in operating
tourist flights between Dakar and several British cities.

Dakar-Rio flights are also in the works according to President Wade.
Senegal is on the move.

Sidi Sanneh
