Your AFP reports have been very informative which I consider to
be one of the best sources of african affairs, particularly francophone
Africa. Their reporter Emmanuel Goujon has been in Bouake from the start of
the crisis.  Paul Welsh of the BBC has now joined him for what should
provide unbiased and reliable news from Bouake. I thank you for your
concern about our safety.  I will be away from Abidjan for at least a week
