Jammeh is a beast. And because he’s semi-literate and politically illiterate, he thinks he own Gambia. Let him go on with his evil wishes; threats and the like.
“The road to Gambia’s freedom is not going to be easy as
others will think.”
Thank you Nderry, for reminding Gambians of this fact. Most Gambians are of the view that NADD is going un-sit Jammeh in 2006, all who are of this view are still in slumber, NADD as it is, can never un-sit the ruling APRC in any Presidential elections nor can it gain an upper hand in any parliamentary elections.
This is due to the presence of the “OLD THIEVES” (PPP), their presence in this opposition force is gonna make them lose much of what they shouldn’t have lost. Come on let’s not fool ourselves man. Have the PPP done any good in Gambia during the reign of “SUNAROO KAY” Dawda Jawara?
They led almost a similar style of government as Jammeh is doing today, so let them all (PPP and members of their government) give way, to others.
And trust me majority of the electorate are going to deprive NADD their votes due to the presence of these “OLD BASTARDS” like OJ and his “OLD GANG”. They’re lucky Jammeh didn’t roast their asses in hell. I wished he did. But its not too late, very soon he’ll send them where they belong to live the live they deserve.
“We need Hamat, Halifa, Darboe, Sedia, Kemesseng alias Madela, Waa, or Mbarodi and OJ to lead public demonstrations in weeks and months to come.”
If u are dreaming, Nderry, and think that these people are out to risk their lives, you’re mistaken. Among these you think are heroes, very few are true nationalists, ready to do what it takes to ensure their mission is fulfilled. Quite a good number of them are just mere “pusses”, they just wana grip power, and continue playing their cards; milking our coffers as before. Who says they have Gambia’s interest at heart, all what some of them are struggling for is their pockets, nothing more.
“You should depart from the politics of rallies and organise peaceful show down marches to make Gambia's case known to the outside world. If the opposition in Zimbabwe can do it why not The Gambia?”
And by the way, you are somewhere else abroad, dreaming of such things. If you, think so why not go to Gambia and coordinate these, turn your these dreams to reality if you think that’s how things are suppose to be. But no you`re hiding in some place, thinking by just mere words you could change the trend of things in Gambia….. You are a coward, all you preach in this” rubbish of words” is nothing but falsehood. What is stopping you from going to Gambia and do these, if “organising demonstrations are a better way than rallies”?
“We are faced with an iron hand dictator who is ready to kill 2.4 million Gambians to stay in power.”
Be getting fact right before publishing them. The population of Gambia is 1.3 Million, not 2.4 million.

President Yahya Jammeh is on rampage again. He vowed to deal with his
opponents and critics come what may. He was loud and clear when he said
some opposition officials and online journalists or writers will regret
why they were born. This scary statement sounds like his "six feet deep"
threat against Gambians. Jammeh, go ahead with your idle threats. We are
more determined today to expose you and your corrupt government. Killing,
maiming and jailing Gambians will not deter us from taking issues with
your irresponsible government. We are committed to salvage our country
from enemies of freedom.
Jammeh, we at The ALLGAMBIAN are aware of your evil intent against our
establishment. Come rain, come shine, we are here to stay. We maintain
that all what we reported about The Gambia/Senegal border impasse was the
truth and nothing but the truth. After all, what will one gain to write
stories that will jeopardise relationship between The Gambia and Senegal?
Jammeh, we expect you think big and maturely. You behave as if you are a
maroon, so to speak. How on earth can one hate The Gambia and venture into
such unpatriotic moves. To the point of compromising Gambia's National
interest? Perhaps Yahya is in the business of such unpatriotic moves. We
at The ALLGAMBIAN don't believe in smearing campaign. We believe in
reporting the truth and nothing but the truth. Stop black mailing
Gambians. This is unGambian. We expect you to address issues and not to
issue threats against peace loving Gambians.
We do know that Jammeh is determined to fulfil his threat to kill certain
Gambians before the 2006 polls. This is not an accusation. Jammeh's
Brikama speech to kill Gambians is well documented in local newspapers. We
have newspaper clippings to publish here for all to see. His threat
started to come to reality with the demise of Deyda Hydara in December of
2004. As we observed 2005 Koriteh prayers, he is out to reaffirm his
determination to extend the killings and disappearances.
It is time for the opposition to engage the dictatorship with tough
resistance. Freedom is never earned under silver platter and we must be
ready to put our lives on the line to chase Jammeh out of the state house
come what may. The road to Gambia's freedom is not going to be easy as
others will think. We are faced with an iron hand dictator who is ready to
kill 2.4 million Gambians to stay in power. We must make our case known
to the international community now. Jammeh is ready for war. His
statements suggested that he is ready to plunge The Gambia into civil
conflict.
This is not the time to negotiate with Jammeh. Dictators don't understand
diplomatic language. We need Hamat, Halifa, Darboe, Sedia, Kemesseng alias
Madela, Waa, or Mbarodi and OJ to lead public demonstrations in weeks and
months to come. You should depart from the politics of rallies and
organise peaceful show down marches to make Gambia's case known to the
outside world. If the opposition in Zimbabwe can do it why not The
Gambia? Our opposition can only be taken seriously, if they are ready to
engage the dictatorship. You have a strong following and do not allow one
man to hold the country to ransom. Jammeh cannot succeed in killing the
entire Gambia. You must be ready to take charge of the country, if you
want voters to have confidence in NADD.
By this editorial, we are informing the civilised world and friends of
the media about Jammeh's threats to deal with members of the opposition
and online news writers. We believe that such threats coming from Jammeh
are determined to undermine freedom and our god given rights. Jammeh had
long been taking Gambians for a ride. It is time, we reclaim our destiny,
which is in the hands of evils. Failure of which, we may see another
Liberia and Sierra Leone. This government is not capable of nurturing
peace in The Gambia. We must salvage our dear mother land come what may.
Jammeh, let me inform you that nobody can silence Pa Nderry. I was
critical as a journalist in The Gambia and will continue to be critical.
There is no amount of threat that can make us change our stance against
your undemocratic and back ward government. You can continue to kill, but
the truth will prevail one day. It is time to ask yourself about the fate
of other dictators. What happened to your brother Charles Taylor? How
about Idi Amen of Uganda? What about the late Samuel Doe of Liberia? The
list goes on and on........
Jammeh, the least we expected from you on Koriteh day, was to preach
messages of National reconciliation and not to issue threats. It is now
becoming a custom that each time you meet with religious leaders at State
House, you will try to use such forums to vilify your opponents. This is
unacceptable and is a mockery to the Presidency. We expect you to handle
that high office with decency and maturity. We rest our case.
