A PALACE COUP COULD BE IN THE MAKING....
MERCENARIES IN AND OUT-SERVING FOR and/or AGAINST GOVERNMENTS.
Looking into the above phenomenon should not be done in a mild way.
Mercenaries are hired to fight. In most cases during and after those
battles they either dislodge, install or destabilise regimes. Mercenaries
are not always ex soldiers, they could also be highly educated people. What
causes mercenaries?
Mercenaries are usually bent on gaining financially, regardless of who
dies, lives, flees, becomes an orphan or a refugee. They are out to be paid
and fight a fight for anyone who wants to use force to be in power or stay
in it by all means. They never ask for causes, they only ask for
destinations and down payments. Bad as their profession may
sound, logically one should try to see it within the same light as the
common term "HITMEN",instead of being naive or calling for emotions and
sympathy. When dealing with the issue on mercenaries one should bear in
mind that evolution knows no morality.
Evolution either destroys to deviate likewise create new things or grow to
another stage. Mercenaries are part of the "evil" components within our
society.Unfortunately Yaya Jammeh's utterances these days has turned
Banjul into a more fertile spot. Or a good breeding ground for these
professional killers, let us not simply rule that out Indeed dictators and
mercenaries are twins when it comes to killing, maiming, money, drugs, merry
making or any form of gangster life. These dictatorial governments indeed
cannot also be left to rest in peace in this!
Mercenaries are an out come of decadence and disorganisation.
Name,Biafara,DRC,Liberia,Sieraleone,Ivory Coast etc etc.At anytime the
services of these type of people are hired they fight for money. This
means they are paid kill. When called in governments either use them or
fight against them. Mercenaries are answerable to their base and command
centers like any other army. The only difference between the two is that
the former works on contractual agreements and the latter should or is
expected to work under the rule of law. That is armed forces
acts, constitutions or defence pacts and so on... How about the role or
roles of Bob Denard the French mercenary who virtually used the Commore
Islands as his Teddy Bear?
Now differentiating the two especially in today's Africa is a big
challenge because we have war lords, so-called leaders and blood-hungry
parasites running the show. How can someone hire, use and befriend these
mercenaries in order to be able to become a head of state, and then turn
around teaching them decency? Knowing the art is one thing, however, using
the art for one's selfish goals is another thing. The art of war helps
expell undesirable elements like Hitler,Saddam, and so on.Indeed the same
art if used by money-making dogs of war becomes dirty and endless.
Mercenaries in whatever form do not want to be in a peaceful
environment, because peace threatens their means of survival.
It will sound strange or even senseless to others but that depends on what
one's perspective is.If someone is thinking about democracy and the rule
of law then mercenaries are bad elements. If one is selfish, power hungry or
a homicidal maniac for whatever beliefs, then mercenaries are good eggs to
hatch. Then help spread evil within and without that particular ruler's
nation or country. Certain Presidents in West Africa, have the bad habit of
hiring the services of mercenaries. They use them in full scale operations
or for selected and specific assaults againts single or collective
targets.
The most dangerous mercenaries are not the ones that are outstanding
ie;those who come in the open and start fighting towards a specific
target,no! the worst are those who blend and serve the state that fails to
protect its citizens. There are two areas to think about here; 1)The
mercenaries who are within the system pretend to be helpers while
fermenting a large scale operation within that particular area. They will
brief and debrief the so-called heads of states they are serving while
they are simultaneously planning hidden operations.
Mercenaries help paranoid presidents stage palace coups.Palace coups are
coups that Presidents plan with loyalists thus get an easy exit route out
of an uncontrollable situation. Remember the end of Strasser-Bio rule in
Sierra Leone. Some times such palace coups are organised by Presidents when
they start sending endless accusations in the air. These type of Presidents
usually come back after a while pretending to be the saviours of the
nation that mis understood their so-called revolution. Usually after
staging palace coups such presidents control the regime left behind with a
remote control.
It is some what risky a game but any dictator tries it at a certain given
time. These Palace coups can also be used as a pretext to eliminate
powerful opponents. They can capture the President by pretending and then
allow many to come in support of the regime(new). Those very elements can
all of a sudden release the captured president help him come back! Watch
out Gambians! They can say that there was a counter coup.Counter Coups
from deposed dictators serve two purposes: 1/They help mystify him more
and more and/or
2/Help eliminate so-called political rivals in a very "clean" way. Clean
way because tracing witch hunting will be hard to realise.Gambians have to
be mindful of anything like that when it hits one day. Therefore
democratic change is THE BEST WAY to remove an undemocratic President like
Yaya. Coups maybe risky too.Yaya may use that route with his boys with a
hidden agenda. Of course that does not mean Yaya is not paranoid these
days.He is Indeed paranoid. Remember that! the mercenary sees money
instead of reason, logic or anything that benefits the population.
Mercenaries study the whims and weaknesses of their bosses first and
foremost when they blend. This is what Francisco Caso did in The Gambia he
came and befriended those who see themselves as the ones who are close to
the seat of power. Francisco won the confidence of Yaya and then was given
the chance to stay, kill and party. He created the the JUNGLERS,THE GREEN
BOYS and so on. Gambians remember when Caso used to leave dead bodies in
his car's booth moving around showing them to aspirants(those who were
being groomed to be Junglers etc). The aim was to harden their hearts by
showing those dead bodies. The believe is as follows:" before one could be
a man,it is better to kill another human being"
Well should that surprise those who know something about the Italian
Mafiosi and their occult methods? In Italy(Where Caso came from) the cult
and spirituality that surrounded the mafiosi was based on hacking limbs
or smearing new members with blood of dead enemies(as they were called to
Justify the killings)! History channel has those cassettes in their
archives. Francisco Caso lured some army boys to speak in a disgruntled
way and then made them believe that he was on their side.He planned a
coup with them asked for the samples of weapons that they wanted to use
during the assault. He picked up those weapons, rushed to the NIA where he
informed Kujabi and others that there was a coup in the making. GAMBIA
NATIONAL ARMY BE CAREFUL OF THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE NEAR YAYA!
He submitted these people's names and then stayed away as if it was not
not him.He blind folded both sides. He told the gullible govt officials
not to say that he was their informant and then told the army boys to
get ready for a possible assault.Caso wanted to was a smart evil person.
He succeeded in implicating those poor men into a fabricated conflict or
a rebellion. It was a trap for the boys and for Yaya because Caso needed
his money. Rawlings and others would have detected his tactics but not
someone like Yaya Jammeh. It was Pa Mbye former CID officer who revealed
the real story and then stepped in to advise the NIA. Caso knew that
Mbye was a trained detective therefore could dig deeper into what he was
up to. Being a wicked mercenary he never hesitated to lie against Mbye!
He formulated another story against poor Mbye calling him a UDP
supporter, this and that(well the usual ways they baffle Yaya).Mbye
instead of being honoured was asked to go home. Lies! Yaya fooled as
usual. This very Caso is highly suspected to be part of the killings
that took place during the student's demonstrations in 2000.Everything
was planned, combined and then our poor kids were the victims of ploys
from a gang of state-sponsored mercenaries who wanted to get a way of
making money through a conflict. The whole thing was so mixed up that!
one has to really read between the lines before being able to decipher
the coded messages,as they were wrapped in total confusion. During and
after the April 2000 massacre Caso was busy spreading his plans to cause
a war therefore have a chance of ripping The Gambia off(through Yaya)
once and for all. The additional list of names ie those whom Caso wanted
to frame as people who were planning to fight against the state guard
are still in the army.Caso instead deviated the whole show and then
implicated Almamo,Lalo Jaiteh and others because they were his threats
at the state house.Lalo Jaiteh never respected Caso because he saw
through the guy's trues colours! Even Musa Jammeh alias Maliya Mungu
never liked Caso because both of them were wicked souls fighting to
control Yaya. This very so-called coup was then spreading behind the
scenes.Innocent soldiers who were so loyal to the flag had to be chained
and dumped in mile two! Caso used to point his fingers at some of them
with stern warnings that he would teach them lessons. Caso did not
rest! he profiteered on the situation so he implicated others and
others. He was trying to prove to Yaya that the elements were still
within,he promised to dig them out! We all know that Caso was preying on
those soldiers calling them real rebels in the army, because this was a
good market for a mercenary like him. The above analysis are a wake up
call for NADD leaders. Those destabilising Gambia areNOT! the
opposition. They are Yaya and his agent provocateurs. Simple as that.Yaya
has to understand that these are reasons why Kumba Yalla was never, ever
comfortable with him. ---------------------------------
