Alieu Sanyang I am alway very critical about Pa Nderry's reporting but the essence of democracy is to be tolerant to other people's view. But are you telling thatsome of his reorting abot not the true reflection of views folding back home? Please be honest to the gentleman is doing a good work.
Alieu Sanyang <[log in to unmask]> wrote: It is sad to say, but this is what Nderry has been involved with ever since. For some reason, we as Gambians cannot seem to condemn things we know are wrong as long as we are not affected.
Nderry wrote this piece with Ebrima Sankarreh. Did anyone here recall what transpired when Sankarreh was accused of writing things he vehemently denied? Nderry has been very irresposnible in "Jota-lling" as scripted here. The guy is a joke and he is not only irresponsible but stupid.
I just cannot see why it has to take this report for him to finally got the screams I am hearing now.

Mawdo Abdoulie,
I agree with you Pa has given me clues about things I could not even smell around although I am closer to home than you, and I think that is great! He has done well in most cases; but as all of us learn most things on the job, it is not out of place to make suggestions for Pa to delay making pronouncements about certain issues, until they are indeed "ripe". Well this suggestion I am aware is contentious, but something BIG is at stake and sentiments will not help at all.
Pa is my big brother and he knows that!!

Through a call to the People's Centre in The Gambia, I have just been told that the process of nomination is still on. Being so far away, Pa provides me with the clues and I sometimes find out the actual facts and the real state of affairs on the issues reported myself. Certainly could be more factual.

Joe,
I don't think Mr. Mbai understands the consequences of his pornographic
brand of journalism. This is more like 'jottalism' - 'jottali' whatever
rumour you hear. Yes, very irresponsible, indeed!

Kabir.
