Kujabi,

Just to rectify you, there`s nothing like PDOIS(NADD). What exists is NADD nothing else. This is not something like what used to be called UDP led coalation, no one party leads NADD, its an alliance in which all parties concerned have equal representation.

"NAAD is not in existence in Kombo East."

Ridiculous! isn`t it? NADD is something new to all Gambians as at now, and as things are i don`t think it`s something wise for any to be predicting it`s fate.

  "No
PDOIS(NAAD) candidate can ever be a threat in any of
the constituencies in the entire country."

Mr Kujabi, if this is true how comes NADD`s having 3 MPs in parliament?
No one`s gonna waste their time educating you here, and i won`t either. So just make sure you start doing so your self to save yourself from the mess you`re in right now.
No one is saying you have no right to oppose NADD or even any other party we all have rights to support any party of our choice. We all have our respective political parties, but it doesn`t mean we should be bent on damaging other parties` images in such a baseless, irresponsible and reckless manner.

  "Notwithstanding, a PDOIS(NAAD)
candidate will certainly lose his/her deposit to the
I.E.C. "I think PDOIS(NAAD) will not want to test
their popularity in a constituency where PDOIS has
never contested in any Parliamentary elections since
its formation twenty five years ago.

I don`t think i have to comment on this, the election results will for themself. And even though if NADD loses or fails contesting the seat, they still have 3 seats in parliament, and wining the seat is not of much importance, because it`ll not last for even up to a year. And i think if ther`s any party that is in most need of wining it, it`s the UDP/NRP coalation.

  "PDOIS(NAAD) is
in total disarray and no one seem to see the writings
on the walls."

They might be in dissarray yes! That does not mean you`re right. We all saw how the UDP under Ousainou Darboe a lawyer without useful logic, nearly died off the arena of Gambian politics. And remember it was this UDP that under-went the worst form of dissarry ever. After the 2001 presidential elections, we all saw how bankruptcy swept their coffers, and they were not even able to sponsor a single candidate for the parliamentary elections.
Darboe haven`t still learnt a lesson, i wonder when he`ll just pray he doesn`t have to learn the hard way.
He thought he was able to un-sit Jammeh all alone in a led coalation, with the exception of other opposition parties.
And this man is sick you know, but i wish him good luck in his dreams of becoming Gambia`s next "MANSA SATEH".
Keep your household in order Kujabi, before speaking of someone else being in dis order...

  Mr. Conteh,

I can assure you that there is no PDOIS(NAAD)threat
for UDP candidate in Kombo East Constituency in the
upcoming election. I am not aware of any PDOIS(NAAD)
candidate running for that seat. By the way, the UDP
candidate Lamin Darboe is from Pirang and not Faraba
Banta. NAAD is not in existence in Kombo East. No
PDOIS(NAAD) candidate can ever be a threat in any of
the constituencies in the entire country. Is Lamin
Touray running for election? Do you know that the so
called PDOIS(NAAD) member Lamin Touray( Charlie)
vigorously seeked UDP sponsorship and until he lost
the bid to Lamin Darboe in a proper selection process
last Sunday . Charlie and his delegation led by
Latiff Sanyang, asserted that he Lamin Touray becomes
a NAAD member when he is in Serrekunda and put on his
original UDP colors back on when he is in Kombo East.
You tell me now which serious politician will sponsor
a candidate that owes allegiance to two political
parties. Besides, Charlie is not known in that
constituency at all. Even if he happen to run for
PDOIS(NAAD)which I very much doubt, he will
undoubtedly embarrass himself by trailing far behind
Lamin Darboe and/or Morrio Jarju should Morrio be
selected by the APRC. Kombo East seat can go to UDP,
only God knows. All we are doing is contesting for
the seat, period. Lets wait and see who will get
nominated tomorrow. Notwithstanding, a PDOIS(NAAD)
candidate will certainly lose his/her deposit to the
I.E.C. I think PDOIS(NAAD) will not want to test
their popularity in a constituency where PDOIS has
never contested in any Parliamentary elections since
its formation twenty five years ago. PDOIS(NAAD) is
in total disarray and no one seem to see the writings
on the walls. You must not be surprised when Waa
Juwara abandons NAAD in a very near future and start
sending missiles at his old comrades. Its just a
matter of time.

Pa. Saikou Kujabi.
