I bought crocs for myself last month because they were light, waterproof  
(although with the holes on the sides waterproof is not really significant), and  
have good traction on the soles. However the reason I bought them was because 
my  alma mata's logo was on the strap and they have no holes in the front, 
just on  the sides. So parents when you consider buying crocs for your child, be 
sure the  front toe area is covered. There is really no need for all these 
holes anyway,  the side holes provide ventilation enough for the sockless feet. 
They can be  great gardening or farming shoes. They are a knock-off of Faddo
