Delivering his annual New Year message to Gambians, the distinguished gentleman harped on the financial ill-discipline and the failures of all public corporations except GPA to make a contribution to government coffers or the much needed employment and other investments. He reminded us of the deploring and blatant human, economic and political rights abuses in The Gambia. 

What gave a lot of hope to well meaning Gambians reaching this paper, in his message on the launching of  Agenda 2011 projects and the fact that Gambian people have already taken up the initiative.
