[Unlike others, I certainly don't ask for apologies, and I am not deviating from that principle now. However, I am in no doubt you erred quite seriously on MBK and as part of your audience, I do not believe your categorisation of him as: "hypocritical; malicious; censoring; a purveyor of discord and infighting; hater; given to professional jealousy; as well as to personal and malicious attack".]

LJD -

Thanks. The above is exactly my disappointment in Kejau and you captured it quite well. Like you, I wholly disagree with his labels of all these words on Krubally. Where Kejau gets these from, especially now that he is adding onto his list of "haters" is only known to him and him only. Thanks to Suntou for getting me the humor whistle to blow....and whatever Suntou! You can have it from here and this is hopefully my last post on this...lol.

Unlike Krubally, I won't call for Kejau's resignation from CORDEG because he is associated with the media, but if I were to, I will call for resignations base on failure, as it is apparent that CORDEG wasn't making much progress (Courtesy of Fatou Jaw's Interview on Gainako). In fact, it is a call of duty for people to participate, and knowing the dire situation we are faced with, I encourage Kejau to keep participating, while avoiding anything seemingly of "conflict" as he balances out his activities. The parallels he drew with Banka wasn't necessary in my view as well.

I think the following will help Kejau as he continues to interact on cyberspace with many other Diaspora activists.

1) To try to understand peoples' line of argument and the basic construct of the message they are trying to pass to him. That it is healthy to debate, agree to disagree.
2) To avoid "flaming" almost every topic of discourse. A typical example was this topic introduction from Krubally. Kejau should have taken the opportunity to clarify and even encourage Krubally to keep feedback flowing to him. With these debates, the moment you start name-calling, you can expect the same back, and not even a yellow leave will fall from the wilted tree.
3) To try to get rid of mind "complexity" where he thinks everyone is after his head. The truth be said, these debates get tricky and tempers flare with some touching comments, but does that translate to hate, jealousy, malicious attach, etc...? I don't think so.
4) Kejau should also focus on "substance" of the debate, rather than beating around the bushes, haters, jealousy, etc....it is only in his mind. He can still defend anyone so wishes, including his wife, and I see nothing wrong with that.
5)He should also avoid thinking that there is a conspiracy against him or that people are favoring each other against him in these debates.
6) Also, inclusion of sense of humor is good. That helps a lot.

Other than that, I celebrate his participation in cyber space and I encourage him to stay input just like everyone else. He was a lieutenant when he left the military. He could have been still in the system in the Gambia with those giving us headache to date, and then It would have been a different story. I think he adds value to struggle by participating and not currently working with the criminal regime.

Granted that Kejau is from a military background, molded in a certain way to think, especially knowing the brute nature of some of Africa's military, and the forceful way they scold, gag, and even torture citizens, I personally would ask anyone to quickly rehabilitate that mentality, and that if the person finds him or herself in the West, help was available for one to be a better citizen, even to where the person participate in some of what led to our current day problems ---ugly dictatorship.

Kind Regards,
Yero.
