Asalaamu alaikum,
Alhamdulillah and I thank you Foroyaa for usual objectivity and concern for
the welfare of Gambians irrespective of political affiliation. When you
spoke, I knew it must be serious for you don't 'cry wolf'. Without doubt,
the circumstances surrounding Mr Nyassi's arrest sound quite highhanded and
has been further complicated by his disappearance.
My automatic thought was to put myself in the position of Nyassi's family
who have no knowledge of the whereabout of there beloved one. That is hard.
Subhaanallah+ACEAIQ- Indeed, I agree that such can only help to engender and
atmosphere of hatred. I hope the authorities concerned will take heed and
clear the air. My prayers and heartfelt consideration go to his family in
these difficult times.
Allahumma salli wasallim alaa Nabiyyina Muhammad. Wasalaam.
Modou Mbye
