Fatou Camara,

What a surprise to have heard from you!! It is always great to hear from
you, but, of course, I am glad that you were not hear to attend yesterday's
get together; otherwise you would have finished all the food (because your
surname is Camara). You can only attend tonight's get together if you agree
to change your surname from Camara to Ceesay (laugh!).

Anyway, Ndey Jobarteh, who owns the house, has just told me that even if you
do not change your surname, you are still invited to attend the get together
tonight, because she really misses you and your husband, Harona Drammeh.

In this connection, sister Ndey has ordered me to tell you that she has
booked two seats for you and your husband with Air Dabia, so that you can
attend tonight's get together.

Just go to Banjul International airport and ask for the Air Dabia's office
and the receptionist there should give two air tickets to London. In the
event you miss the flight, we'll post you your share of the food. Malick
Kah has kindly agreed to post it to you.

Fatou Camara, before I forget, I must tell you that Birmingham is no longer
boring as it used to be. Now, we do have a Gambian night every fortnight at
Thasha Night Club on Soho Road. Of course, no need to say that we all miss
your good sense of humour, your jokes and your delicious cooking.

Finally, make sure that you attend tonight's get together, so that you can
help me with the cleaning afterwards. Ndey told me that I shouldn't use a
hover to clean the carpet. Instead, she ordered me to use my hands to rub
the carpet. Consequently, they are, right now, fixing long nails for me, so
that I can do rubbing of the carpet more effectively.

Ebrima Ceesay,
North London, UK.
