POSITION TITLE: Product Marketing Engineer – Power Supply
LOCATION: East Greenwich, RI
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in analog IC’s or automotive
systems.
EDUCATION:  BSEE
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities  include  defining  power supply product
roadmap for the automotive business unit; generating creative and unique power
supply product definitions.  Requires interface with field applications  and
customers on custom power supply quotes, providing regular product training to
field sales and applications force. Product Marketing Engineer of Power Supply
will analyze competitor products and technology; determine market pricing for
new product definitions; target customers and volumes for product ideas; provide
financial justification for new products; and determine future power supply
technology and packaging needs. Will be involved in new product launch

POSITION TITLE: Product Marketing Engineer – Power Value Added Reseller
 LOCATION: East Greenwich, RI
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in the analog semiconductor market or
in the power supply market.
EDUCATION:  BSEE or related discipline
POSITION DESCRIPTION: An outstanding opportunity exists for a candidate who
understands power supply topologies.  You should be an expert in the Power Value
Added Reseller target market, and be able to define a marketing strategy for
power management IC’s.  Responsibilities  include  understanding the power
supply market technology and current market trends. You will establish strong
working relationships with customers and  identify new products opportunities
and champion them through engineering kick off.  You will provide financial
justification for new products, analyze competition as well as coordinate and
prepare for new product introductions. Product training for sales, product
introduction kits and related marketing materials are also responsibilities of
the position.  Strong writing and presentation skills are required.  Candidate
must be willing to travel up to 20%.


POSITION TITLE: Product Marketing Engineer -
LOCATION: East Greenwich, RI
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in analog IC’s or Automotive
Electronic Systems
EDUCATION:  BSEE/MSEE, Technical degree plus sales or marketing experience in
automotive analog IC’s, MBA a plus
POSITION DESCRIPTION: You should possess ample knowledge of analog IC’s in the
areas of Interfaces, Drivers and Power Supplies, Automotive Markets, and
Customers and Electronic Systems.  In  this position, you will analyze market
potential and develop strategies for Cherry Automotive products. Requires the
ability to manage customer issues and interface with sales regarding current
product and product in the development phase. Will work in cross functional team
to manage marketing promotions, technical data , and sales training for new
product introduction. Candidate must be willing to travel 20% of the time.

POSITION TITLE:                        Product Marketing Engineer -
Communications
LOCATION: East Greenwich, RI
YEARS EXPERIENCE:                  5+ years in power conversion in the
telecommunication or computer industry
EDUCATION:                                 BSEE  preferred, but will consider BS
in Business and directly related experience.
DESCRIPTION:                              Establish strong working relationship
with customer and oversee the introduction of new products including the
selection of market leader and alpha customers, the creation of new product
introduction kits and all related marketing materials.  Will be involved in
setting price for new products and doing comparative market analysis.  Will
provide product training to Sales organization.  Responsibilities also include
tracking and evaluating  monthly sales and gross margins for target markets.


POSITION TITLE: Field Applications Engineer-
LOCATION: East Greenwich, RI or  Santa Clara, CA
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 or more years experience in power management systems and
design of switching and linear power supplies for AC to DC and DC to DC systems
EDUCATION:  BSEE or equivalent
POSITION DESCRIPTION: In this position you will provide direct customer support
for Cherry’s line of Automotive and Power Management Integrated Circuits.  You
will work on new product definition of standard and custom integrated circuits
as Cherry develops and launches new products for the Automotive, Computer,
Telecom, and Cellular Telephone markets.  This position requires excellent oral
and written communication skills.  In addition to the customer support aspects
of the position, you will be expected to provide New product specifications,
Application notes, and training of the sales staff.  Working knowledge of
Bipolar and BiCMOS integrated circuit technology is required.  You should have
familiarity with computer software for circuit simulation, schematic capture,
word processing, and spreadsheets.  Domestic travel required.
