Aloumsa,

Thanks for your input, thoughts and question on the above subject.  I didn't think so either (that it is a bad/misplaced idea, far from it), but since we are dealing with a broad spectrum of players (Gambians) here I would want to know how people generally perceive the move vis-a-vis the strings attached to the debt relief deal.  This question is also consistent with the alleged figures associated with the said refurbishment of the State House (millions of dalasis).

On a more positive note, let us hope that this does not sideline The Gambia for we need the debt cancellation equally.
