G-Lers,

There has yet emerged another blemish in The Gambia's International outlook, only this time it had to do with the country's non-payment of current and outstanding arrears/bills owed to the United Nations, according to the BBC World Service. The Gambia together with other defaulting countries throughout the UN membership have been stripped forthwith their voting rights in the organisation. And this unfortunate action followed thick and fast on the heels of Gambia's recently ended two year membership term to the Security Council which gave some impetus to the Nation's acceptance in the International circles.

I hope the authorities take this matter with the utmost urgency to restore the status quo ante.

I'm at work, i got to go.

Good morning.

OB.
