With all due respect, I found your caption 'THE TRUTH UNCOVERED" very misleading. I know you to be always cautious about stories coming from the Daily Observer, so your caption was very disappointing. Waa had debunked this story and the Observer chose to run this mendacious story at the eve of the election for obvious reasons. Even if Waa is to bring a libel suit, it will have to be after the elections. What is however, baffling is your caption.
No UDP big wig has endorsed the candidacy of Sainey Jaiteh, but we all know that, the UDP’s reason to put a candidate in Serekunda Central is to attempt to divide the opposition’s vote thus leading to Halifa’s defeat. What is assuring is that Halifa’s record speaks volumes. He has represented his constituency, the Gambia and Africa very well and I hope the people will not be distracted by petty and vindictive politicians from making the right choice of returning Halifa to the national Assembly. I will assure the people that regardless of the outcome, the struggle will continue unabated. This is not a struggle for the petty and feeble minded. We all know who will not be intimidated when the going gets tough.

Well my brother, you have to realise that the APRC's propaganda machine-Daily Observer has come up with a rebuttal to Waa's remarks on the Point Newspaper. Therefore, the onus lies on Waa to take another step by bringing a libel suit against the Daily Observer. Moreover, I wonder why Waa cannot hold a Press Conference and address the latest allegations made by the Daily Observer.
Finally, I note your reference to the three-way contest taking place at Halifa's constituency. Unlike the latest on Waa, I am yet to hear of any allegations that a UDP bigwig is endorsing Sainey Jaiteh's candidature.
