As an African, I agree with you completely. From that very early stage Morgan should not have been seen as a puppet of outside forces. I also have feelings about this dating to the first demonstration I ever took part in, in this life, when Ian Smith unilaterally declared Rhodesia independent and declared himself prime minister of Rhodesia in November 1965.

In some extreme quarters, Morgan has mostly been regarded as an uncle tom but at the same time because of the very bad economic situation in Zimbabwe (inflation officially at 1,700% and according to Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Minister for Africa, Lord Treisman, on BBC this evening, inflation is probably closer to 3,000%, unemployment at 80%, millions living on the abject poverty line, 2 million Zimbabwean refugees in South Africa etc) means that so many people are suffering and Morgan can also be seen as a saviour - one who also has the goodwill of the toubabous and the toubabous extensive financial networks of “the international community”.... anyway toubabus don't like Mugabe, basically because of his policy of taking farms from toubabus and giving them to his best friends ( Africans).

And here some advice to Morgan:

Mail & Guardian is always a good source of news about Zimbabwe:
