Culled from www.Gambia.dk, thanks Momodou Camara. The finds although
not conclusive, shed light on migration, inter-ethnic assimilation and
how many legends may be of few substance. Haruna, the Darbo whose
grand father was a grand Marabou, hence Darboe clarics, could actually
be a Balanto.
Whilst Ibrahim Chongan, the Fulbe cultral Wollof may actually be a
Basaranko. The paper is quiet interesting, Jokes aside.
The later areas touched on some Guelewar Serre tracing their
descendants to Mali. This means, well, myself a Fana Fana from Saloum,
could be from the same line with Mboge.. What do you know all the way
to Mbemba Adama.
