  I don't think the parties can come together. Some elements of us in the diaspora have cause the damage and the the prize is strengthening Yaya Jammeh's dictatorial rule. We have have no voting rights even with the fact that we remit hard currency into that country but among us are people who are asipirant, who are so dangerous like the devil of Kaniallai.

Thank you for your response but I certainly hope you are not relegating my imput to "personal attacks and personality politics". because if one is being honest, I think the situation is quite clear and my response was directed at those who want to widen the unfortunate devide that has occurred within the opposition by insisting on continually harping at issues that are irrelevant to the effort to forge a united front against the APRC instead of insisting that our politicians put the nation first and pursue an agenda that promotes a unified opposition which has a far better chance of defeating Jammeh. The insistance that all aspiring leaders subscribe to the ideal they profess to be in pursuit of cannot be separated from this process if one is an honest broker in this venture. 

The split among the opposition may be seen as normal by some of us, but we want to aspire to higher ideals as well as have those who aspire to leadership aspire to the same and this sometimes calls for sacrifice. We must insist on relaying this message to all political aspirants and people need to stop trying to muzzle anyone who dares to challenge these politicians when they make the wrong decision, especially at such a critical time as this. Let us all challenge the entire opposition to come back together because that is what will ensure a victory against Jammeh. The problem is that we have far too many people who proclaim they want to see change but are selective in what truths we must insist on and who also are quite adept at making sure that they maintain a foot in each camp just in case.

Jabou, 

Your statement is loud and clear. The Most important thing right now is for NADD to busry AFPRC for good. There is no time for personality politics or personal attacks, the issue at stake is the kives of millions of Gambians at home here. The break off of Darboe and Hamat is rather and unfortunate situation but normal as well. In any orgnisation/party people are bound to seperate or take different position best know to them only. I was just hoping that there is still room for dialogue and negotiation. 

The Gambian people has all their hopes on NADD to win this year elections. Talking to people on the ground they are rather diassapointed but they are still willing to give their votes to NADD. Most people i spoke are rather dissapointed with Darboe's moves and they hope it is not too late. 

Gambians ar ready for this change, people are tired, the condition here is hard and difficult to bear. The cost of living is very high, no matter how much pound sterling/dollars/euros you bring to this country it goes like water. 

Those people bent on personal attacks they shoudl save it to themselves if they don't have any thing important to say to safe the nation. There is no time for this, this is the face for genuine changes in the Gambia. Those of you who have your families should encourage them to vote for NADD this can really help the situation back home. If you can't vote your contribution should be to get your family, friends, wives to vote for NADD. 

For NADD their is no time to deal with splits, they should concentrate on strategy victory against the AFPRC. Even if it means neck and neck with UDP/NRP Coalition in the election fine. This spilit is no victory to AFPRC, it is just the beggining of Gambians taking their own nation in their hands through the ballot box.
