Dear Gambia-L Members,
This is to remind all that Gambia-l was established to help Gambians and
friends of the Gambia to discuss Gambia related issues in a respectable and
dignified manner. Despite several personal and public calls certain members
(a very small minority) of Gambia-l continue use the list as a forum for
graphic language, pornography and indecent language on each other's family. As
a result the Management regrets to announce the following new regulations:

1. Members engaged in personal attacks and insults will be removed without
warning.
2. Management has suspended effective immediately all new requests for
subscription until after October 20, 2001.
2. New applicants for subscription (after Oct 20) would be required to
provide sponsors. Sponsor must be someone who is already on the list and
credible using his/her name.
