My thoughts exactly.  I am not sure what to make of  the headline. 
 
My understanding of sacking as described in the dictionary is dismissal from a job or  as we say in America "fire".
 
After reading the article, I could not help but reach a similar conclusion. 
 
Granted Jammeh is well known for sacking, this is non other than a REDEPLOYMENT of the three ministers.  They are  still working for him regardless of it being voluntarily or not.
 
I guess the question is wether the new assignments  are preferred over supposed prestigious the ministerial (SOS) titles.
 
In all, I wish them good luck in their new endeavors.
