I think you are misinformed on your assertion that this list is privatrely
owned by these individuals.  I believe St John's hosts the ListServ but this
should not be seen as the property of any single individual.  Instead, it is
a service kindly provided to us by SJU with the specific purpose of giving
Gambians who have access to the Internet a means of communiction.  It is
therefore to be viewed as something we all share.

This being clear, I dare say this is not the property of any single list
management and should therefore not be treated as such.
